Economic Development

Irving continues to boast an impressive list of accomplishments through its Irving Economic Development Partnership (IEDP), a strategic collaboration of the Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce, City of Irving, Irving Convention & Visitor’s Bureau (ICVB), Las Colinas Association (LCA) and Dallas County Utility and Reclamation District (DCURD), as well as private investors.

The partnership’s mission is to advance, create and promote economic development in Irving-Las Colinas.

Economic development in Irving is projected to increase dramatically through 2020 with the addition of nearly $3 billion in new and planned developments: $6 million square-feet of additional commercial space; 5,000 new residential units; 2,000 new hotel rooms; 20,000 new residents; and $4 million annual visitors.
