Help for Entrepreneurs & Small Business
Our team at The Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce understands the many challenges of growing and sustaining a successful business. Think of your chamber team as an extension of your company; take advantage of the many partnerships, collaborations, tools and other opportunities available to Chamber investors.
If your growth plans include expansion into international markets, the Chamber can facilitate important connections through the Trade Development Assistance Center, which then helps access business leaders in your selected foreign markets.
In addition to providing ongoing support to member-investors interested in global trade, the Chamber also hosts regular meetings and seminars detailing the requirements for doing business in other countries.
Training and Education
The Chamber also offers a number of programs that leverage the wisdom, expertise and talents of our member-investors for peer-to-peer learning, including town-hall-style forums structured to inform and educate investors about critical issues facing the business community. Forum topics often feature local development policy, education, state-level taxation, and infrastructure maintenance and initiatives.
The Study: Irving Innovations Center connects corporations with the neighborhood to develop targeted training and certifications designed to solve corporate workforce needs.
Service Corps. of Retired Executives (SCORE) provides free business counseling to area business owners and Chamber member-investors at the Chamber office.
The Chamber hosts an assortment of networking events tailored for different audiences, member-investor receptions, small business coffee breaks, 5-Star business mixers, and legislative updates with local elected officials. These events offer Chamber member-investors the opportunity to develop and enhance business relationships and also foster connections with key decision makers.
